About Pierre Chiha and his photographic approach:
Pierre Chiha is a Boston, Massachusetts Area professional photographer specializing in portraiture and event photography.
Pierre has been photographing people since the age of 13. Pierre gets his inspiration from painters such as Vermeer, Caravaggio, Rembrandt, and John Singer Sargent, and photographers Yusuf Karsh and Arnold Newman, but his favorite subject is his daughter, Gaby. Pierre has taught Portraiture and Lighting Technique courses at the New England School of Photography in Boston, and the Continuing Education Program in Concord.; He was born in Cairo, raised in Beirut, and educated in Paris before he moved to the Boston area.
Jamie works behind-the-scenes as the office manager, but that’s not all she does. She is also an expert photoshop retouching artist, and our most creative album designer.
AJ is our principal videographer/ cinematographer and is a genius at Final Cut (our video editing software). He is also an awesome photographer, particularly with high school seniors and events.
Meg is in charge of our commercial photography. She excels at photographing musicians, as well as business and corporate headshots.
Erin is our marketing guru – she designs our newsletters, blog, brochures, and our global email communications. She is also a videographer and video editor
Lois is a “Jack of all trades” and is a valuable asset to the team, helping out in a multitude of areas, such as customer service, quality assurance and back office tasks. Of course, like the rest of the team. she’s also passionate about photography and video.
Tammy is our “ninja” photographer- so called because she does great behind-the-scenes photography at events and people don’t even know she’s there. She is also a great product and food photographer.
Jill is a fabulous journalistic photographer, by far the best in the Boston area. She photographs many weddings and events. She is also a brave and amazing trapeze artist!
Ulli is a great photographer who does awesome studio portraits. She is great at posing and at using props.
Holly is an outstanding portraitist and is particularly great with children. She also excels at weddings and Bar Mitzvah events.
The studio is located at the Emerson Umbrella Center for the Arts in Concord, MA.
